Don't actually expect to get anywhere close to 7.2, supposedly the network is currently capable of 3.6, how often do you get even 2 or
2.5mbps??? I'd be surprised if end users even get 3.6 in 7.2 areas.

In order to get 3.6Mbps, you have to have a device with that capability. Your N95 (which I think you have) will not reach it cuz it's only capable of 1.2Mbps

Nope, 3.6, and even that doesn't have much relevancy, I almost never get even half that.

WCDMA 850/1900(HSDPA) with simultaneous voice and packet data (PS max speed UL/DL= 384/3.6MB, CS max speed 64kbps)

You know when they talk about 7.2 or even 3.6 they're talking about topend speeds right? As in, you're in the perfect range, no interference, and you're on the tower by yourself?

Reguardless of what they call it, it should double your current speed. Doubling is still faster than you have now. According to the site I'm linking, where I live, AT&T is already faster than everyone else. Doubling the speed here would pretty much put everyone else to shame.
