The Touch2 is not the Touch Pro2. So you will have to wait a little longer. The TP2 comes out on the 8th.

Most likely Sprint will offer an upgrade to 6.5 for the TP2 when its official comes out.

Ya except the TP2 is winmo 6.1 and this phone is winmo 6.5. The TP2 will be able to upgrade later, but its a huge difference now.
