I'm from Connecticut, but currently live in Vegas, I can't frinkin believe Connecticut got 850 3G before Las Vegas. Well, at least ATT is moving right along, and not taking a break with this whole 850 thing. I guess we can look forward to more markets being announced next week, and so on.

At least ATT isn't taking a break.

You're kidding me, right. AT&T has has 3G 850MHz in Las Vegas for a long time.

I'm originally from CT. Who cares about (your state here)? 😉

I love that they fired up 850 MHz in 7 out of 8 counties ... every county except where I'm from.

I agree with Kryger though, Connecticut is nothing but a breading ground for liberal ideology and mediocrity. When was the last time you heard anything good happen in Connecticut (besides this). Maybe when Connecticut can boast of something other than a stagnate population you will be allowed an opinion about what state is better.

The top part I agree with, but yeah the part we're he reffered to Ct as a stagnant population that just wasn't cool.

Jackie Robinson is from Stamford, Ct btw!!! Jackie Robinson definetly wasn't a stagnant person!!!

I don't even understand how this is even relevant to the topic at hand. CT is part of the NY metro area, and is therefore very urban in nature, that is why they are getting this 850 MHz overlay.

Having a very liberal and open-minded ideology has nothing to do with why they are getting 850 MHz coverage. So are you saying that AT&T isn't choosing to do the South because they are conservative and backwards-thinking?

Yeah, better off in some inbred redneck state, where school shootings, love of war and an unforgiving god reign. Thats if they could afford to come up with the money for a data plan.

So because Murmermer characterized residents of Connecticut unfairly you do the same to those in the South? Sure that makes sense...

I don't really understand why people have to start stupid arguments like this on a wireless telecom website. Not that I take anything seriously from someone who can't even manage to write a paragraph without multiple spelling mistakes and no substantiation for his or her opinions whatsoever, but I grew up in Connecticut and was open-minded enough to accept a relocation to Tennessee. Five years later, I'm about to move to the Pacific Northwest for another relocation, but I guess my point is that I was "open-minded" enough to move to a state where everyone apparently has a mullet and rides a horse to work, so teased many of the people I knew in the Northeast. My point is that open-mindedness isn't a bad thing and not everyone in Connecticut li...

Maybe when you learn how to spell, you can actually express your opinion in a way that makes you appear semi-intelligent. Guess my mediocre Connecticut education provided me with something yours didn't, eh? 🙄

That is what I was talking about, only a true liberal would try deny my right to freedom of speech over something as mundane as a simple grammatical error.

Oh yeah, I was born in Bridgeport, and lived in good ole Shelton just before Wtby.

I hate living in Las Vegas with a passion! But Ct's an expensive place to live.

I'm not a huge fan of Waterbury, but that's where I was born and spent the first eight years of my life, so I can't really knock it either. Until I left Connecticut in my adult years, I was just down the street in Watertown. I've lived outside of Nashville, TN for the past five years except for a six-month stint in Pittsburgh, PA, and this month I'll be leaving for Redmond, WA hoping to get a chunk of that Microsoft money. 😛

You sure do have a lot of miles on you.

I certainly don't intend on growing old in Las Vegas that's for sure. I'm thinking maybe Texas. But it'll be a while for me.
