Jitterbug Hops Over to Verizon Wireless

I thought Jitterbug was already using Verizon. Is this considered an extended roaming agreement? Were they using multiple networks before? Is this a joint partnership or is it an aquistion? If it is either of the last two, wouldn't an FCC approval be needed?

So, Jitterbug has always had multiple roaming agreements with several CDMA providers to get a national footprint, including both Sprint and Verizon. What this announcement meants is that Jitterbug will primarily use just Verizon's network from now on in all areas that Verizon has coverage.
