Being a retailer of Jitterbug - Did VZW buy Jitterbug, or is it a quazi merger in some territories ???? Just don't understand ???

So, Jitterbug has always had multiple roaming agreements with several CDMA providers to get a national footprint, including both Sprint and Verizon. What this announcement meants is that Jitterbug will primarily use Verizon's network from now on in all areas that Verizon has coverage.
