"the N900 has quad-band GSM/EDGE and 900/1700/2100MHz WCDMA/HSPA cellular radios on board"

If this is correct, shouldn't this mean that it will run off the T-Mobile 3G network?

I've been told by a Nokia representative to expect an increase in higher end Nokia's soon, but this is more than an increase. This is a leap!

Has anyone see any other sources for this or have any confirmation?

It's official:

It looks like T-Mo will be the first North American carrier for this. I would expect an 850/1900/2100 version out relatively soon. Whether AT&T will carry it is another story.

T-Mobile USA will be getting a lot of new high-end handsets in the comming months/years. Expect them to have a lot of new innovations to their network and thier handset providers, such as HTC and Nokia. They are the ones that are hungry and looking to eat in the wireless industry.
