Identicle design to 3-year old SCH-i760
Correct me if I am wrong, but this phone is strickingly similar to the SCH-i760 that was a 3 yr-old design launched 2 years ago (and was already dated when it launched). Dont get me wrong. I owned the i760 and loved it to death!! But to reincarnate a 3 yr-old design minus WinMobile is ludicrous. If you look at the chrome circular d-pad its the exact same part. Probably left over from the i760 parts bun. Interesting is that this Metrophone model is the "i560" which lends to the same series model scheme. maybe Samsung designed this phone 3 yrs ago as well and never released it.
hey I wonder if Motorola has any unrealeased Star-tac phones that they want to relaunch? I guess retro is in! Waiting for my Smart-Bag-Phone and Smart-Brick-Phone....

first of all it is the r560 not i560, but close. With the exception of the keypad, QWERTY keyboard, display and housing they look the same. LOL. They are completely different, but nice try. finally the i760 came out in mid 07. If my math is correct that would make it 2 years old. Moto fan maybe?

Ok. I missed the r for an i. I did mention the o760 was released 2 years ago (correct). I also mentioned the design was 3 yrs old. The i760 took over a year to go from testing device to production. It was leaked the fall of 06 if I recall correctly. And forums followed it forever anticipating its release. Even I was anxous for it and tracked the forums continually up to its release Oct 07. However it should have been released in Feb 07. But all the VZW BS held it back most likely. Its like when VZW introduced the HTC Diamond recently. Ah, hello, that model is a year old now and HTC already has the Diamond HD available. And prior to that VZW released the HTC Touch (original) in white (ayear late). They are still selling it on their site, OMG....

Most important issue I have with your post is the two phones are absolutely nothing alike. Totally different phones. i760 was much larger then r560. If anything i760 was more like the r450 MPCS had. I am confused how you could even make the comparison.
