Update Brings Visual Voicemail To Bold
Anyone know why the Wireless Upgrade option wouldn't be available?
I've been constantly checking on my phone, I have the .167 software version (the latest before today's update) and still don't see it. I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere else...
Doing the update through Deskotop Manager isn't a huge deal for me, I just like being on the cutting edge!

I got mine from the phone itself. Go to Advanced Options and Wireless Upgrade. I got mine OTA, but it doesnt work. When I try to launch it it says "Provision is unsuccesful. To resolve this issue, contact your wireless service provider"

Problem is, I don't see "Wireless Upgrade" under Advanced Options.
For your issue, did you call them and get the VV feature? You can also add it from the website once you log in to your account.
If you have done that, I read on BGR that you just hold "1" and go through the voicemail setup, and that should fix it.

oh so I have to add a feature? I thought it was free like the one on the iphone. Isn't the one on the iPhone free? Im sorry this whole VV is new to me. I was trying to try it out to see what it's all about. If its not free I may not be interested on it...

It's free, you just have have to be provisioned for the visual voicemail. Go to add features on your account, under voicemail features, you should see it.
If you get lots of voicemail, or dont like listening to messages, you'll like VV.

I added it today and LOVE it. Only problem (my fault) is that after I updated the OS (via the wireless upgrade) and added the VV feature via online account management, was that it kept reading "could not initialize" or something to that effect. THEN I dialed into my voicemail and re-set-up my voicemail as if it were the first time and began to work like a champ.
