RIMs standard browser isn't the greatest one in the world. I am glad they appear to be doing something about it 😁

ive used winmo based browser and safari so id like to see how this matches up.

Other browsers such as the WebOS and Android browsers use Webkit from Iris.

WebKit is used by Iris, but Iris did not make WebKit. WebKit is the result of a collaboration between the open source community and Apple. It was created to form the basis of Apple's Safari browser, including the browser in the iPhone. Many companies - including Nokia - now use the core WebKit web rendering engine as the basis for their browsers.

I had this browser for windows mobile, opera is much better RIM must want some of the tech from this company

It would be cool to see RIM use Opera as a Default Browser. Maybe they can hook up and work together. That would be amazing for customers experience.
