I answered my own question. Yes, my iPhone (3GS) has a 850MHz radio.

Actually, it has quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900) and tri-band WCDMA (850/1900/2100). Pretty cool.

The question I have for you is, are you in the Sanfran area? If so, have you noticed any changes in your internet experience? Honestly!

I would most definitely hope so. That would put a huge amount of people like me in the dark if there was no 850 MHz. I actually believe that most of AT&T's network uses the 850 MHz band, not 1900. Many big cities have only 1900, but most of rural America is on 850 MHz.

But they're +adding+ 850 to the big cities now. I so, so much can't wait to see how this brings my phone to life!!!
