I still don't understand why so many people LOVED the gravity. Oh well, it helps MY sales!!!

The new one doesn't look nearly as ugly as the first, so that is a big bonus.

Hopefully it will be even more popular!!!

Here's to selling twice as many phones this next six months than the last!!!!

The Gravity is like a trim down Sidekick. So in general, people like the Gravity because it does text messaging just as smooth as a Sidekick without the size or price of a Sidekick. With the Gravity being the cheaper phone (more affordable) it is welcoming to the pocket and the eyes as well. I dont agree with you that its a ugly phone. I think the White and Blue one looks pretty cool actually.

Although to be honest, I am hoping the MyTouch and Pro2 do better in sales. I like both those phones over the Gravity 2, Comeback and Highlight. The new Blackberry was disappointing also. In anycase, Tmo has a very nice line up of phones from now till the end of summer.

Good luck on your sales and hopeful those who are not selling, find something...

I think for 30 bux its a great deal, many people buy these for their little happy fingered teen aged daughters for texting phones (or similar ones for other carriers), they are fairly well made and cheap. I also understand most of us here buy high end phones and smart phones, but this isn't the truth for the majority of the population. And I agree its a pretty decent substitute for a Sidekick with a far cheaper plan.

i have the gravity right now, and as far as I'm concerned it's a great phone. i wish i would have had more money when i signed up, because i would have loved to get a more expensive device, but it honestly does everything i want and more. texting is a breeze, the mobile web never gives me errors, and my call quality is above average. i can see why this phone is popular. this phone is perfect for a teenager. with it's vibrant colors, and durable build, at it's current price it's an absolute steal! i like the sleek design of the new one, and i would love to try one out to see the differences, but if i get a new phone it's going to be a my touch. i just love all the apps the market place has to offer, and i truly miss the iphone i use to have. ...

You sir/mam are the worst kind of sales person. Just because you personally wouldn't use a phone doesn't mean you should shy people away from a phone that would work with them and within their budget.

I hope instead of increasing your sales figures I hope you manager has a brain cell in their head and fires you. 😈

Sure... because a sales person doesn't prefer to sell a certain phone he can be fired. EVERY sales person has a preference in which phone they sell. I personally hate selling sidekicks and would much rather offer a G1/blackberry instead (mainly because i hated troubleshooting the sidekick 2). If somebody comes in and says," i want the 2008 sk" , i would fr sure sell it to them but i would never go out of my way to offer it. Ooops, i better not let my manager find out.

Well I work for technical support for AT&T, and I personally hate salesmen/women who suggest Blackberries to everyone. Know why? Because then I am helping some redneck or old person try to figure out their Blackberry. The reason there are so many phones is so that sales people will ask probing questions and offer the appropriate phone to the customer. There is nothing wrong with Sidekicks and in fact for 90% of the customers I deal with I would much rather them have the AT&T equivalent of the phone instead of the Blackberry they were sold.

I never said I shy people away from the phone. I will sell people the phone they want, but more importantly the phone that is right for them. I like the phone because it has personally helped increase my sales. I just think it's ugly.

If they want to browse the web, email and text, it's a smart phone, if they are a kid and want to simply text I'll sell them a gravity, or the gravity 2 or the comeback etc...

Sure I have phones that I like more than the rest, but that doesn't stop me from making sure the customer has the absolute best phone for THEM.

On top of that, I do ALL the customer service for my customers at my location. I sell the phones, put them in the right plan/device try to see if they are eligible for a discount thr...

I understand why this man/women was attacked... Its because it sounded like he could care-less about this phone and may or may not suggest it to his customers. In turn, making him a less-then-effective sales person. Simply for his look on the porduct. Truth be told though, if he break down his post, it wasnt as bad as it looked in its whole...
