The Shack Kicks Off Sales of T-Mobile Services
it's all about closing the deal
I work for an authorized dealer Right up the hall from "The Shack" and honestly, I'm not all that threatened by T-mobiles presence there.
Don't get me wrong, I love Radio Shack, been shopping there since I was a kid, and I did a one year stint as an employee. I believe they might sell a few phones, but the salespeople just aren't trained to sell.
As direct competition to "the shack" though, I actually like the idea i feel like it is going to solidify T-mobile as a major competitor in the minds of more people, thus making my job easier!

obviously the mall you work in has a bad manager running the radioshack. most radiosahck associates are trained to be sales beasts. live it up while you can, if they ever put a decent manager in there your gonna lose a lot of sales. i know if i was working for that radioshack i would rule that place! lol i'm not currently employed with the shack, but back in the day when i was an associate there we rocked the house in cellular in my area. it's sad to here that the associates in your area are bums. they need to clean house! heck if you've got that kind of sales ambition maybe you should go run that store!

haha, yeah. I don't know. Maybe the guys from other radio shacks kick a lot more tail, I don't know. I used to work there and i cleaned house in pay, but the authorized t-mobile reseller I work for now offered a lot more and I took it.
The place I work is a different breed of sales though, they train us to be hardcore. I put out around 100 phones a month alone, the location does around 350 with four sales guys.
