AT&T Takes Verizon to Task Over Advertising
What is ATT thinking?
While I question the ethics of how independent studies are conducted, The fact remains that these studies are admissable in court. With this said, ATT is casting stones at a solid wall. Too many studies are in Verizon's favor and against ATT's. ATT has documented subscriber issues against ATT's network and ATT has admitted themselves(very recently) that they have network issues with their 3G and are working on it. Yet they commence battle with Verizon whos 3G is indeed pretty much intact? I am no Verizon fan, but ATT is not thinking clearly on this. ATT simply needs to get away from whatever stuff they are on. In fact, I believe there is an app on their iphone that can help them with this!

Do a google search of AT&T network problems and you will return pages and pages of blogs and sites with comment after comment of complaint. Most of them are iPhone users, which is why I will NEVER get an iPhone.
Do a google search of Verizon network problems, and you only get a couple of rants, but they are a couple years old, whereas the AT&T rants are 2008-2009...yeah. I changed my mind. AT&T is dropping the ball, just like they did when they were AT&T Wireless.

Personally I agree Att doesnt have much grounds to sit on, but they all do say some BS in their advertisements. ATT doesnt have 3g where i live. Ehh ok. Not for me. Had alltel it was great! ehh once big red took it over... no. Dropped calls, 1x data speeds. No one should suffer 1x im sorry. And customer service...... Ive had way better from uneducated outsorce centers. But big red cut me out of contract ( after a hour 10 min on hold to just talk to them ) So where i live, they both suck. At least big reds biting the big one right now with the merger. but hey, doesnt help me now.

And you didn't think there would be problems? What they are doing is upgrading your tower so it will put out a stronger cell range to improve service. A lot of Alltel's network wasn't up to par with Verizons (back up power, EVDO Rev A, etc.).

People with degrees do research through only peer reviewed documents.
There are several peer-reviewed journals that people in any specific field would know the name of when they go looking for information, you can find these journals using Google.
Google is a search engine, it is not a resource in and of itself. People with degrees would realize this.
