they do but the Pre has some type of emulator that fools itunes into thinking it is an apple product like an ipod.

hm itunes is lame anyway so im not suprised. i wish there was better sync progs to put music on devices like iphone and ipods cause after i updated my 3g to the 3.0 OS i couldnt put music on it the regular way.

Why doesn't palm just get proper licensing for iTunes? Seriously, this is really going to get messy, and palm will lose. Not only will they have lose the money for the lawsuit, but also the money spent in developing their hacks. It seems really childish and spiteful to keep doing it this way.

What makes you think you can get a license for iTunes? The Palm is directly competing with the iPhone, I doubt Apple is going to just let this one go.

Palm wouldn't lose in a court battle, remember apple tried to sue 2 people that keep creating the jailbreak for iphones and ipod touches and have lost every time. Reason why is because all they are doing is crating a program and giving you "the user" the ability to use it. They are not doing anything illegal. Why do you think limewire still exist. All palm is doing is giving you a application.
