Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get into Harvard? Every year thousands apply and only a few thousand are accepted. You cannot even apply to Annapolis. A couple hundred of students are appointed to Annapolis every year. At Harvard the work is difficult but if you work hard you can get through it. At Annapolis they spend the first week doing absolutely everything they can think up to get you to leave. Then the hard work begins. It was the largest non-disaster loss of civilian life in US history till 9-11.

Ya know, you sound like a very well informed guy. However, that doesn't mean you represent the average McCain supporter. Conservatives usually care about 2 things politically: Abortion, and Religion. If you're a candidate who is against abortion, and very christian, you can basically count of at least 50% of the conservative votes, and that's a "conservative" guess.
Realistically, you are an exception to the general rule of conservative intelligence. Be happy about that, but realize that most conservative people rely on their church to tell them who to vote for, and don't actually do non-bias research.

Actually, the answer to that question must be no. Not because we are never satisfied but because we are hardly every completely satisfied. Usually when we demand something, its because our back has hit the wall. We cant take it anymore and we push forward. The problem then becomes, what to push forward on.
Cant ask for everything cause then you might get nothing. So we ask for a small chunk. Yet, we know that small chunk wont cut it. However, we accept it anyway and convince ourselves "Its a start".
