While I'm sad the Tour 9630 does not have WI-FI right now, this is good news. The CDMA Blackberries need to catch up to the rest of the GSM carriers. I'm all for Blackberry fairness on all networks! Keep up the good work Verizon and Sprint. Now if only pictures of the Blackberry Magnum would surface....

The "Storm 2" as it is called right now has been rumored to have wifi.

Very good news 😁

LOL this picture is a joke, but the Blackberry Magnum does exist according to RIM insiders. Supposedly it is a Qwerty and a Touch-screen but all the problems that the Storm had with the SureType they it back to the drawing board. Makes sense.

I can't get over how much the phone/carriers cater to the wifi/Starbucks crowd. Wifi is horrendous I much prefer the consistency of the CDMA data connection - without the SSID, passwords, nickel and dime wifi operators trying to grab my $9.95 for one day access. Extend my battery life, reduce my form factor and leave the wifi out IMHO.

I have NEVER paid a dime to use WIFI. I can be in Starbucks, school, Panera, airports, not too sure about McDonalds never tried there. But my BOLD picks them all up. Maybe you're in with the wrong carrier.

So True, So True. RIM really does needs to work on giving us a battery that lasts longer then 5 hours talk time. Getting Emails and going on the Internet use up a lot of battery life. 😡

or they could just switch it to complaining about verizon "forcing" companies to include features instead of "crippling" devices...
