HTC Explains What Sets the myTouch 3G Apart
Well at least SOMEONE is explaining the difference...
T-Mobile has it's employees watching all these videos and training activities on the MyTouch and they all say how this device is 'Unique and different' from the G1 and other Android devices but they never explain what those differences actually are.

Don't get me wrong, I've had the MyTouch for a couple weeks now and love the phone. But to say the phone it's anything more than a smaller, sleeker, sexier version of the G1 without a keyboard is ludicrous.
Thanks HTC. Even though the changes are minuscule and for the most part, pointless, At least you pointed out what makes the MyTouch different.
