The whole social stigma of "I'm gonna sue you" is so out of control, saying "I wasnt told about this" is kind of like shooting a gun at someone and then claiming no one ever told you it could kill someone...people are effing stupid idiots...call the villiage there missing someone...

It's true people are bums, they look for any way to get money. IE people who sue mcdonalds for them burning their tongue when they buiy a drink titled HOT coffee. That is not to say the salesmen are not to blame as well. As a salesmen myself I try to explain in detail when a customer can or cant do. I make sure they clearly understand what theyre getting into before they get into it. A failier to do so reflects badly on the sales rep as it should. I donm't believe it's right to sue over this but at the very least sprint should have given credits after an investigation.

It is not clear that people were told they would be charged.

If Sprint "overcharged" taxes, either:
A. The charged more than they said they would, or
B. They lied about the tax rate.

Maybe Sprint is different, but most carriers don't put tax rates in the contract because it can change.

Maybe there is more to it, but I actually read the article, while it appears that you didn't and just started one of your pet rants.
