If you read my comments in the previous articles you will find out that I already said that t-mobile was coming out with this phone. It is t-mobile's version of the HTC Snap, but with cooler features that I cannot disclose at this time for security reasons. I am the go-to guy for anything t-mobile related

I want a sweet Nokia phone, which one is the best, I want it to be smart and not required for a data plan, I mostly want it for the calendar and contacts with mp3. I don't use net on phones.. blah

I would probably go with a Nokia 7510. This is a really nice phone with a high def screen and camera w/flash. It has a micro sd slot for all your picture and music needs. It does have an mp3 player and It doesn't require a data plan, but you can either add unlimited internet to it for 9.99 or you can use the built in wifi on the phone to access the internet on the phone for free as much as you'd like. This is my personal opinion, but you are absouetly free to choose.

I just looked it up and I wish I would have been more specific, I kind of like the bar style phone better than a flip. Is is possible to get an unlocked Nokia phone from over sea and put it on T-Mobile?
Internet is really only $10.00 a month? DANG!

Hey corepreacher, if you're the go to guy for Tmobile, how does one get the unlimited internet for $9.99. They don't have the option on the website anymore? Any ideas? If you could pull this off, you really would be the go-to-guy.

Heck, I'd take 100 megs for $9.99! They only seem to offer the $24.99 plans or 10 bucks more with unlimited texts

As of June 3rd, the web2go 100mb and 50mb has been discontinued. It is now 9.99 for unlimited Web2Go or 19.95 for Unlimited SMS/MMS and unlimited Web2Go.

Keep in mind these data plans are for Phone first devices (ie. Flip phones, Slider phones)

For Pda, Smartphones, G1, and Sidekick the Data plans are $24.99 for Unlimited web or 34.99 for Unlimited Web and SMS/MMS.

As well being an Employee, feel free to ask Questions 🙂

Can they tell what kind of phone you have? Would the Web2Go work for a smartphone like an old SDA?

Yes, The Imei number is specific to the device. So you sim card will read the Imei soon as you make a call or have some sort of data transmission from the phone. In return means it will update our system with the current Imei (Phone being used).

In theory it could work.

I guess were always watching đŸ˜ŗ .

Good Idea though. 🙂

I have an old V195 flip, how long would I have to have the SIM in that in order for me to get the discounted internet?

All you would have to do is put your sim card in the V195 and make a phone call, That will register the Imei in our system, then call cc, and try to add it on, then swap the sim back. I can't Guarentee though that will work because I don't know if the Soc (service order code) will be compatible for the smartphone device.

But you can try if you like! 🙂

That won't work. When you move your SIM back to your Smart device and try to access the internet, you'll get a screen telling you that you don't have the right data plan and will prompt you to select the right one.

As for the original poster: Wow! Do you want a cookie?! Maybe a gold star?!

For security reasons? They are having MASS trainings by HTC and letting all employees play with this phone and the htc touch pro II. Nothing really "special" about this phone. It has a trackball whic everyone already knows about.
