Yet another nail in the coffin of free market.

The question is not really whether exclusivity agreements are beneficial or hurtful, right or wrong, the question is does the government have a right to tell an industry how to run its business? I mean seriously where in the constitution is government given the right to tell business what they can and can not do? This is an extreme abuse of the interstate commerce clause.

There should be re-regulation. The greed by corporations and the greedy Republicans and some conservative Democrats on Wall Street have put this country in the shape it is in now.`There has to be rules of conduct in business not just businesses policing themselves which does not work. Free market has failed and the rules now need to be enforced.

If lack of regulation lead to the current financial situation then why did it happen now? The market is more regulated than it has ever been in the history of the US. And why did the current financial crises hit Europe so much worse then the US. It is a well known fact Europe is by far way more regulated then the US.

Your opinion has no factual biases. It is an opinion propitiated by politicians who bread hate in order to gain personal power over people. That politician in turn will use that power to get as much from as many places as possible.

It was greed that lead to the current situation, but it was not greedy corporations. It was the policies instituted by greedy politicians.

jhr2112 is obviously drinking way too much of the kool-aid, and doesn't know anything. The free market has failed??? Yeah, okay Mr. Obama. Why don't you go watch some more CNN or MSNBC. I think Chris Matthews is going to be grabbing his ankles for Obama live on TV tomorrow. The market is hardly "free" anymore with the amount of control the government has over it now. And it hasn't failed. It's simply in a pretty bad downturn because politicians have gotten there hands into way too many things in the private sector. If you anything about economics, there will always be downturns in the economic cycle, but if government provides an atmosphere for thriving, which the constitution calls for, we wouldn't have the kinds of messes we've had and are...
