Still the same lame VZW UI

Look like it still has the same VZW UI. When will they get rid of it and get something more modern? Look at Korean and Japanese "dumb" phone's UI's. Maybe VZW should learn from those guys?

One of the reasons I won't buy another dumbphone from Verizon and will stick to the smartphones.

I really dont get this complaint. I have family members with sprint/ATT/tmobile. Their interfaces really arn't noticeably better, and most of them are set up in a similar matter.

Yes, the UI is annoying, but it's not as terrible as all you are complaining about.

Annoying a little but also standardized. No learning curve means you can actually use the phone right away and changing phones every year or two is easy. There is some merit to why they do it I guess

You would be surprised at how many people object to getting a new phone after their old one got incinerated because they don't want to learn a new UI. I then change over to that "ugly" Verizon UI on the new phone and they are satisfied.

Not everyone has an IQ of 10,000 and can instantly learn a new phone by looking at it and poking about the menus.
