Didn't Samsung already do this...with the Flip Shot?

I mean, it is basically the same concept.

Plus, the 280.00 price on contract is a little steep.

The FlipShot is 2 years old now, and the 3.0MP camera was far below what people would expect in terms of quality. Hopefully the Casio will deliver.

Agreed. We have a flipshot around. As a phone they are fine. As a camera, it's a major dissapointment in almost every aspect.

The flipshot didn't meet Mil-spec for durability.

This is also an optiocal zoom, a full HTML browser, and EVDO-RevA speeds.


The flipshot was also really expensive (200+) for the majority of time it was out on verizon's network.


Oh, and paying $300 for a phone now is a lot cheaper than having to pay retail for another one when you accidentally get something like the flipshot wet.
