Where is the new design? And the name? Don't make me yawn. C'mon Apple you can do better than that!

It's the iPhone that I would actually consider, finally. Speed is great, and the remote wipe and track are the keys for me.

The rest is no better than I can do on my HTC, so until there is a CDMA version, I'll be fine with my Touch Pro.

I'd recommend using an iPhone side by side with your HTC Touch Pro. There's an um... whopping difference.

Skyfire is nice for a Windows Mobile browser but for everyday use it falls flat.

phones five years ago did not have 3.0meg cameras with auto focus. Nor does any phone (to my knowledge) have a minor video editing capablities.

i agree some of the software updates like MMS and Voice Dialing are seemingly outdated. But its better late than never in my opinion. Apple likes to do things their way and make sure the design and UI looks very smooth and easy to use. so i'll take it. but its probably not everyone's cup of tea

+1

Apple's focused on core features and has expanded them rather than trying to do everything at once sloppily (HTC.)

I do applaud them for trying to expand with quality features, and the new changes will be nice. I just can't help but feel cheated a bit, I was super excited all weekend waiting for a shiny "new" Iphone, and this is what I get.

I would be way more excited if I didn't feel that some of these features should have been in the phone when in launched in 2007.

I mean at least give us a new, sleek design. Or make it platinum plated. Or something

what phones had 3meg cameras 3 years ago? what phone could video edit 3 years ago? i'd like to know what these devices are because i've never heard of them.

the camera seems plausible. the video editing does not seem possible at all on ANY mobile device that was made 3 years ago.

you do realize that EVERY electronics company comes out with 'upgrades' every single year. Blackberry does it, LG, Samsung, etc etc. They all do it. Apple does it as well.

personally i'd rather have a small, concentrated update every year rather than what palm did...wait a couple years and release a very powerful OS on a slightly less powerful hardware.

like a previous poster said, small updates allow Apple and any company for that matter, to fo...
