Price War!
it would be pretty sweet to see these 2 behemoths fight over the cheapest iPhone.
In the end the Consumer wins!

Not if it creates a sub-standard product.

Verizon's network is better in many places they would not have to get into a price war.

Business consumers and even personal consumers who truly know the difference between AT&T and verizon would not agree. Having 3G and GSM over CDMA out weights having verizon espically if there in a area where AT&T truly do's have just as or better coverage then verizon.

I'm not talking about the **** they do to their phones or their customers just about verizon's network themselves.
I have at&t in NY and my wife has verizon and I can tell you in our travels from Boston to middle Virginia she kicks my ass no matter what phone either of us have.
Never mind when either of us are traveling in the middle half of this country.
It what ways do having 3G and gsm outweigh cmda and edvo?

I know you're full of crap, because I live in Va and drive to NJ and NY and my iphone works great. I have no issues at all with coverage.

FYI
I sell Verizon,at&t, T-Mobile and Sprint. Of all of these T-Mobile has the least 3g coverage followed by at&t. Verizon and Sprint have the most 3G (data) coverage. When i travel I take an at&t and a Sprint phone and with both of those companies having excellent roaming agreements with Verizon and T-Mobile I can get coverage 99% of the time. I do personally prefer CDMA due to fewer dropped calls and no interference with audio equipment. I am frequently in a recording studio and they make you leave GSM phones in the lobby.

Oh yea I forgot about that little sore bit of GSM tech. If you have any unshielded wirings, the GSM phones are very likely to cause interference. Especially with audio stuff. Not god when your awesome music score is interrupted by a loud annoying BUZZZZZZZ!
Also iDEN phones cause a hissing sound.
