Especially if the next iPhone finally supports the following features:

Picture/Video Messaging (!!!)
Stereo Bluetooth (It's the Apex of music player technology it should have this!)
Flash Player Lite (less important but really it should by now)

I sure hope Asurion Insurance will cover the Verizon iPhone. That's been a big gripe about AT&T's most expensive phones, that they aren't insurable.

All of AT&T's phones are insurable now. With the exception of the iphone of course.

Great so all phones are covered except the one that everyone is buying. Great for Apple/at&t/Asurion bad for the consumers.

3.0 update this summer will add over 100 features.

The only feature I care about it the ability to multi-task, which the iphone doesn't do well at all right now.

Why is multi-task the most important feature?

For me(a businessman)it is a pain to have to keep closing apps to go to another one then back again and then back again. Cumbersome and annoying.

Windows rules in multi-tasking. Depending on how much memory the app is using, you can have several different apps running at the same time allowing you to toggle back and forth between the apps without loosing what you were working on.

It is not Asurions decision on what phones are covered or not. The IPhone is insurred by..... drum roll please...... APPLE! Gee I wonder what is comperable to the IPhone if they are out of stock?

Just as he said, just because the Iphone is under verizon wouldn't mean it can become insurable, If one carrier finds a way to make it assurable through assurion then trust me they all will be insurable. The Iphone is a expensive phone, maybe they could offer it yea that would be great but realistically they would want to raise the dectucble, Iphone fraud is extreme and i kinda understand there reason for not insuring it. If you treat your phone with respect, it won't get lost, stolen or broken.

That is a bad-a$$ed post. Seriously, when you take your wife in the shower with you, don't you treat her like a hooker?

But they don't really cover it. I was in the apple store getting my computer looked at and heard at least a few people here, "$199 to fix/replace."

Apple care for the most part is a good deal, customer might have cracked they screen or even water damamged there phone and at apples discretion have replaced or atleast sold them a new one for the $199 price point. Its pretty much based on there discretion and the extent of the damage.

I was reading somewhere that a few people were having problems with the build quality of the Iphone (the white one's I think). There was picture of cracks developing along the corners of the casings.
