Why only CDMA in the subway

It's interesting to note that there are only CDMA carriers involved in Chicago's subway system. I am really surprised that at&t, tmobile, and sprint are not yet available there, as it seems they all have strong markets in Chicago.

originally Us Cellular was the only carrier down there. i guess their exclusive rights ran out. and note...Sprint is also a CDMA carrier.

New York City has this same issue. CDMA and esp. Verizon Wireless has their claws well dug in already in the subways. Would be nice if they would let in ATT mobility and T-Mobile as well. Verizon Wireless is not the only carrier in the country so why do they get the rights??

its not in every subway station, verizon wireless get service underground in places where is not too far deep. It's funny to see people looking at me talking on the phone while in the train station lol
