Samsung Craft

Judging by the review performed by our good man Philip Berne, it seems that metroPCS wants the bragging rights of being the nation's first LTE carrier at any cost. As mentioned on the review, the Craft is just feature phone (and a poor one too). I seriously believe that the folks at metro simply want to sell a phone under the 4G "brand you want to call it that) just to bring more costumers to their network without having to really deliver a true 4G speed to their devices. This unit does exactly what they want: a high-priced model that gives the customer an idea of what is like to have a fast network. MetroPCS knows that with this device there is no real stress on its network. No tethering, no real browsing experience, no platform on the device to allow third-party apps to fully enjoy this "new" network. I'm hoping to see hackers make this phone able to do what a real smartphone does: tethering, true browsing, multi-tasking, and perhaps the ability to customize it to one's needs.
