Judging by the review performed by our good man Philip Berne, it seems that metroPCS wants the bragging rights of being the nation's first LTE carrier at any cost. As mentioned on the review, the Craft is just feature phone (and a poor one too). I seriously believe that the folks at metro simply want to sell a phone under the 4G "brand you want to call it that) just to bring more costumers to their network without having to really deliver a true 4G speed to their devices. This unit does exactly what they want: a high-priced model that gives the customer an idea of what is like to have a fast network. MetroPCS knows that with this device there is no real stress on its network. No tethering, no real browsing experience, no platform on the devi...

i agree, sounds like a slightly watered down epic. with 1x? strange, but then again metro did jump from 2g to 4g. i wish they would have taken a lil more time with their first device on lte, and perhaps the newtwork its self. espcially when it tests around the same speed of most 3g networks. it will be interesting to see when a giant like VZW gets a hold of lte. im hoping they deliver on the speed that wimax and metro's lte havent reached. so yea, kind of a let down for the first lte phone.
