AT&T Enables Collect Calls to Wireless Phones

Back in 1999 I used to call DT1 wireless lines in Germany collect, and it was no big deal. Since then T-Mobile only allowed collect billing to a wireless, if you also had a landline phone in Germany.

Last year Sprint and Helio both enabled this over the summer, so seems AT&T is just about a year late. Although, the rate isnt directly from an affiliate collect calling service, its through any company the calling party uses. I used American Roaming Network, and was able to ring my phone, answer, and find the charge was $1.99 a minute with a call connection fee of $7.99 or something like that. So its quite a bit more to use ARN then AT&T Collect.

Personally, I dont mind collect calls to my mobile as long as they can not be manipulated by ...
