For the most part you are correct, but there are two interesting phones out of the bunch, the e71x is obvious the Samsung Impression is the other, yes, its somewhat of an upgrade of the eternity but the screen seem interesting.
In any case these texters be it on any carrier sell like hotcakes and are very profitable for the carriers. There's tons more teenage and pre teenage kids getting phones like this, then geeks like you and me wanting something more.
