By lashing together a S60 phone, Truphone voip, Google Voice, and an unlimited data plan on ATT, I do exactly this right now. For less money, with my plan minutes as backup. My setup works well. It's a great idea. Good luck to them.

Yes - it appears to be a VoIP only service.

The one thing that's interesting is that domestic lists as being available anywhere in US and Canada. For any Canadians it would be a good deal - cheap roaming.

This Unlimited Domestic Plan includes Unlimited minutes to be used anytime from anywhere in the continental U.S.A. and CANADA.

2. Truphone assigns a separate telephone number in the UK and USA, therefore you do not receive unlimited calling with your main telephone number. Would be nice if Truphone rode off your main number, as it doesn in other areas of the world (non-US and UK).

3. When out of wi-fi range, you can forward truphone to your cellphone, but this would use your minutes...
