So basically you had nothing remotely positive or even important to contribute and just wasted 30 seconds of my life by me clicking on your post. Thanks for that. And for those of us who actually care and follow this, it is good news.

For as much as we all beat up on Sprint (and I'm including myself here), they are the first ones to roll out 4G and it looks like they're going to have a pretty solid 4G foot print by the time Att & Big Red come out with LTE. With that being said, I'm not a Sprint fan boy nor would I ever have Sprint service, I'm just saying lets give em a break. They're trying to get back on track. I think with them pushing their 4G network and devices like the Palm Pre coming, they might just have a good chance of coming back to the top, which would be kinda cool. I think if Sprint markets it right and keeps their business plan going the way it is, they will be a top contender again. Which is better for the customers and gives me an extra challenge while I...

Last I checked Sprint is tied with Verizon in call quality in the West and is exceeding Verizon nationwide. Would you call that a screw up? BY the way, what part of the network has Sprint screwed up??

possibly the iden part.

they are first with the "4g" but almost everyone can see that LTE is a far better choice. sprint will have to switch to it in the future. just my opinion.

network is the only thing they have going for them at this point and that is shaky at best

What is shaky about it? I've been all over the eastern half of the states and have only dropped one call.

First: I think everyone(including Sprint) agrees that the acquisition of Nextel was not a stellar decision. So this I agree with.

Second: Does "Almost everybody really see" that LTE is the best choice? Most cell users have no clue what the hell LTE or WiMax is. Just an observation. The carriers, their employees(even that's questionable) and phone geeks do, But everyday subscribers? Bet they don't.

Third: How do y...

Well said. Not to mention that people seem to forget that for years Sprint was on top or at least a contender. People act like just because Sprint had a few rough years that they are a horrible company, but at&t/cingular was going through the same thing 3/4 years ago and look at them now. I have little doubt that Sprint will turn things around.

Not to mention Sprint has already taken steps and are looking to run a dual mode 4g networks with the idea of runing all buisness on WiMax and all consumers on LTE Samsung and LG are both working on Devices to do this. So i say good for Sprint for once again being an innovator in the US market.

What is shaky about their coverage exactly? It's pretty much on par with Verizons for people who live in reality and not in "verizon is perfect" world. And Sprint's 3G coverage actually covers a larger area.
