I do not use TMO nor would it be in my best interest to use them because of lack of coverage and their 3G in my area at this point. The city I live in is saturated with ATT, Sprint and Verizon networks that have 3G deployed. However, A friend of mine that works for TMO has consistantly said that 3G has begun to be switched on in certain markets and will be switched on in many new markets in upcoming months. He said the delay had something to do with the fight over the white noise spectrum. He said all the equipment is in place. That particular spectrum would have greatly effected their 3G. This being true or not, I still believe TMO in any event, is ready to make that jump. We shall see. Good luck TMO.

Its not so much optimism, but sprint already has 4g in like 2 cities and is rolling it out across all major us cities in the next few months, and trust me Verizon is right behind them.

Its almost like a company saying, he we finally have dsl service!!!!! Like its a big announcement when so many companies have had it for years.

P.S. Dont take this as a flame, more so like a big whoop here is your 4th place medal.

The problem was that Tmobile was going to take over the 1700mhz and 2100mhz spectrum from the government. They were draggin their feet with releasing it to us. We had the hardware in place for quite a while.

At least you have a informative response, instead of the other T-MO lovers.
