if it's $50 with 10, even 15GB, this'll be a HUGE seller
but now, it's a turn-off
luckily, T-Mobile still keeps Total Internet, that you can grab unlocked 3G phone (5330 is due July) or TM506, and tether away for $40, and still unlimited (maybe up to 10GB)

Currently their isn't a way to tether the TM506....at least officially. I'm not too sure on the 5330 but you would probably have a better chance with that.

The best way to go is buying the 3rd party data USB stick floating around on the internet that works on 1700MHz Freq. Put it on a phone data only plan and your good to go with (real) unlimited data...

actually
you CAN tether TM506, even branded R3DA fw
however, you have to add data account on the phone yourself, and need to get the account ID
then dial *99***(ID)#
and I do it almost everyday, though mine is already de-branded

Well I figured you could. I simply stated that 'officially' you can't do it, which means if you need any tech support with getting it to work, then your on your own because TMO customer care will tell you it isn't possible.

But thank you for the info. on how to do it. It'll come in handy when customers ask 🙂
