It's been 'out' for a while but AT&T didn't want to pick it up just like they did with the SE K850.

Why is AT&T opposed to good phones? AT&T is a pain in my a$$

I don't think that ATT is opposed to good phones. They just don't see a major market for a phone that is going to sell for $250 on a subsidized 2-year contract which has a major selling point of a great camera. Let's face it, you can get a very good digital camera with more features for $100 less and no contract. The only phones that ATT sells in that price range usually have the ability to sell extra features, such as PDA connect or Blackberry connect, so that the company can make more money. AT&T does not charge any different for data for edge vs. 3g on regular dumb phones. And in only one case on smartphones and that is the 2g vs. 3g iphone.

And please, I don't want to get into classification war if the iPhone is or isn't a snartphone. Basically AT&T charges the same data price for it, as if it was a Fuze or Blackberry Bold.

The Nokia N95-3 also is quad band and dual band 3G. I think the only market AT&T is interested in supporting is txtg addicts!
