Or MetroPCS...or Cricket...or all the other users of the 1700 band...T-Mobile just launched their 3g network, you really think they are coming out with LTE first?

well if they are already adding 3g hardware why not? their already paying somebody why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

...you mean in a couple years, or at least what feels like it. really all we know at this time is that LG has made an LTE device, doesn't even specify it as a "phone" per se. prob just a glorified testing device. who knows, we'll see though, cause no matter what it was or its intention, the hardware is getting approved. won't lie, i'm giddy!!

I don't think you understand how reconfiguring towers works. They cannot just kill two birds with one stone by adding 4g hardware. Check back next year and we will see if T-Mobile has introduced LTE first.

Honestly tmobile is so behind in 3g they might aswell skip it and go straint to 4g....

I agree with you.
I think EDGE works just fine for us now and we would be perfectly fine with EDGE while they set up 4g. I would sign for that if asked to.
