I really like apple products, from there ipods to the macbooks, and now the iphone. I think apple is a really good company that has solid products. AT&T is a good company in my opinion, i only been with them for a year and a half and they have treated me well. And my coverage is good. I used to be with verizon, but I need GSM cause I travel and switch phones a lot.

I read the forums on here about apple and it seems theres a lot of hate going on for apple. I can respect your opinion. But to compare it to a product thats not out or say there behind is lacking knowledge of the product. I think the iphone is a really revolutionary phone.
Yes, there is lack of stuff but thats with every phone not just iphone. All these other companies want ...

yes the iphone is a good phone. no question. But two points of fact. Apple chose at&t because verizon turned them down. Cdma's national footprint is as large as gsm's.

As far as the hate for apple. I believe in large part it is because they exploit a weakness in the market. Microsoft provides an operating system for different companies to use t make their own. It is therefore a one size fits all system which provides the consumer with more choices. Apple understands that if they make teh hardware in tandem with their software they have a much better control over their product quality. they then market it as upscale and overcharge for it.

But the thing is if microsoft didnt allow this by manufacturing the operating system only ...

yes i have to agree that apple is proprietary and there sucking in money. I have no doubts about that. But there products are pretty good. I have own PC's and Macs and Macs has always been performing great. I think they make great products. As far as CDMA and GSM being on the same print.. I kinda differ.. I used to live in the UK and traveled to asia and now living in the US. I say GSM is more dominant than CDMA. The only places that I know that use CDMA outside of the US is South Korea, some parts of India. Other than that, its GSM everywhere.

I would have to agree. The iPhone is a revolutionary device. The geek in me really wants one bad! on the other hand, the practicle side of me wants to kick the crap out of myself for even thinking such a thing. Short of the flash factor, the iPhone really doesn't do anything that cant be done on another device.

How do you figure that CDMA lacks nationwide?
You do know that coverage wise CDMA covers more square miles of the contry than any other cellular signal? While GSM is the world standard. CDMA is head and shoulders better for security, quality, distance of transmission from towers, and even the number of subscribers on a single sector of a tower. The information is of smaller size eliminating the need to excess back-haul from...

Yes iphone is really a revolutionary phone, but i really like there UI interface, i would have to say its more easy to use.

And.. I'm not saying anything bad at all at CDMA, I used to be with verizon and CDMA is really good at data and voice, no doubt. I'm just saying GSM is more convient to switch out different phones, and its international, thats why I'm using it cause its the world standard i travel to europe a lot. But GSM to me, as just as good as CDMA. I get good call quality and coverage. CDMA your locked to 1 phone, and when you switch theres a fee.. so I'm just saying.
