Hundreds of other phones have had "MMS, Cut & Paste, Stereo Bluetooth" for quite some time. Nothing ground breaking here.

It is for a phone without that capability.

It's not "groudbreaking" but it is news, one that a lot of iphone users will be happy about (and those of us from other networks can get a laugh about)

Better news flash: It's still a better phone than whatever you own.

I mean, think about it this way. You ever get a phone that gets feature updates regularly like the iPhone? Probably no, because when a different company sells you a phone, that's usally the phone you're stuck with. A new feature comes along, and you'd have to buy a new phone. At least they have an incredible system that pushes updates and adds features not currently present on the device itself.

I'm not an apple fanboy. I'm just not a fan of ignorant statements.

On the other hand, if you had said, "Wow. It's about time." Okay, that's fair. They should have done this a long time ago. But at least it's coming.

laughable. Seriously? A DONGLE to be able to listen with headphones? It's archaic. When the battery life is better than 3 hours, let me know.

your slander aside, the G1 still does what the iPhone does and gets OTA updates regularly that adds features for free. Windows Mobile will be doing this in the future as well.

I am not a andriod fanboy, I'm just not a fan of ignorant statements.

"I mean, think about it this way. You ever get a phone that gets feature updates regularly like the iPhone?"

That is because most phones already have those features the iphone is just now getting. 😉

A Winmo device let's you take it a bit further and customize the device the way you want to. The tons of Winmo app's do not need to be approved by Microsoft. Dev's are constantly coming up with their own updates, no need to wait for the manufacturer.

I'm not saying that your "better phone than whatever you own" statement is ignorant...but it sure is subjective.

Well im sorry the iphone is not better than my htc touch pro, and its not a better phone then the n96(dont have but just my input). And what are you talking about getting updates all the time the iphone has been out forever and its just now getting mms capabilities. You must be confusing apps with updates, if your not then u have to check your sources about all these updates.

P.S. Updates arent always a good thing, it usually means your dev...

No, what I mean is that features that it didn't have before are pushed to the device later.

Better late than never.

Most phones that have features missing out of the box NEVER get the feature.

And the App store is a giant monster that nobody has even at least matched yet.

YET.

Right now, in my opinion, I have a great internet tablet/phone/camera/gaming device, and I have yet to find a phone that comes near it in usability, dependability (although AT&T isn't a first choice, it's good enough) and beauty. Let's admit it: It looks good and works well.

Like i stated you obviously have not looked at the n96 it does everything better than the iphone, only thing i phone has over it is the app store. And i would hardly say dependability iphones have problems all the time and you cant even have insurance on those phones.

and a full keyboard...itunes compatibility... I can rent movies on it...direct download podcast from iTunes.

I'm not an appleboy. I have a Dell. I'm just a fan of iTunes....sorta...

and you can have them insured. Privately. Or through Best Buy. If you purchase an iPHone there, insurance covers everything except lost/stolen for 14.99 a month.

Actually, Not many phones have Stereo Bluetooth. Thought that doesnt take away from your point and I agree with you; Nothing ground breaking here...except...Stereo Bluetooth isnt as spread across phones as you think. I had a hard time finding a nice phone with Stereo Bluetooth until I found the 8900.

Well, maybe you should have looked in the Wing/Mogul/Tilt or Dash/Blackjack/Q9.

Even Samsung M610/D900 and many others have Stereo BT.

A2DP may not be popular to use, but many phones these days have it.

Im with T-Mobile. I had both the Wing and the Dash. Like I said, not many phones with Stereo Bluetooth. You put all the phones you could think of in one pile, but that doesnt work well to us as a point. As a T-Mobile customer I dont have ALL those phones available to me (doesnt matter that im with T-Mobile, If I was with another carrier I still wouldnt have them all available to me).

I should rephrase my comment;
There might be a few Stereo Bluetooth phones out there but there are not enough on any given provider. Stereo Bluetooth isnt as popular amoungst cellphone manufactuers as one would think. Go to your provider and check what phones THEY have available to you with Stereo Bluetooth. Now narrow down the selection to phones you would...
