Apple Revises Applications and Apps Store Functions

Sounds like Apple is really pushing advances on thier iPhone now. Is it too late? The iPhone is still selling but will this be enough to bring in the skeptics?
I still believe Apple should have never signed a contract with AT&T. The iPhone could be much more then what it is today.
