Slammer

I have heard Sprint is slated for an Android product. This would be an excellent match up for three reasons:

1) Sprint for their Data
2) Google for their OS
3) HTC for their Devices

Definitely a winning combination

I have also heard that a WiMax chip maybe included with an upcoming Sprint/HTC Product. Could this be it? Can anybody verify?

You're on crack Slammer, for simple reason stated below:

Sprint will not be in business for much longer, raising ADMINISTRATIVE FEES without explanation, unexplainable high monthly bills (not talking about base rate plans I am actually talking about extra taxes, extra features that werent asked to be added and usage charges when I have no overages), along with poor (and thats actually a complimenting word) for customer service!!

On top of that, there great data you speak of is not complimented by great coverage, it doesnt even work in most places...

As well as... their imfamous butchering of all good HTC devices i.e. The Diamond (one of the best data devices in Europe, known as one of the worst in America because of Sprint)!!

Yes, Sprint has data... yes, Google has the freshest smoothest system out right now... and yes, HTC produces fantastic smart phones...

You sir, were just demonstrating and pointing out the obvious!

On to more important matters, T-Mobiles G1 works perfectly fine on it's EDGE network and does not need to be on the 3g network. As for Sprint rolling out 4g, all I can do is laugh at that previous comment by you. Look at it this way, you may have a 6 lane highway for all their customers to use but when you have 30 cars trying to use the 6 lanes each car will still move slowly. T-Mobile may only have a 4 lane...
