Well I didn't know that Wimax was originally developed as a upgrade to broadband WIFI. I guess it worked so well for wireless carriers that they molded it into the "4G" that its being used for now. I also didn't know that there's about 69 million users of Wimax services world wide. I wasn't aware it was so popular. I'm starting to rethink my position on it. It probably wont get the recognition like LTE will but I'm kinda excited to see the two go head to head in the future.

Ya well Im still useing my BB Curve running on EDGE. So I havent even had the pleasure of useing 3G yet. But I will as soon as the Touch Pro 2 is released with US 3G bands. The only thing that kinda sucks is by the time I do get that phone, not too far after that theyll be rolling out LTE. So, Im going to be behind the times again. I just cant seem to keep up these days.
