I'm thinking because they have the LG Voyager and EnV.

There is no doubt here. I do think however that these new versions bring a little more cereal to the breakfast table which would satisfy someones appetite. The old versions were a good seller for Alltel and Sprint. They are great Msg devices.

However this is dated technology. Why go with a rumor2/banter when for the same price point you could go with say a rant?

LG had a good idea but forgot some key elements.

1) this phone operates on 1xrtt and not EVDO so slow net speeds

2) they left the 1.3mp Camera when similar devices are standard at 2.0

3) in an attempt to seem edgier they followed in the rants footsteps and added a second back plate.

4) they left the same problematic charge port the original had.

With that said they did add a much needed extra row of keys for numbers.

All in all I think this phone will do very good with ages 8 - 14 as well as those who have no interest in checking there social networks or email on the go.
