Simply not the case, Vibrant and Captivate, have 16GBs of internal ROM, and came out before this verizon version.

vibrant has 16 gigs internal and a 2 gig sd card. Smile

I dont understand why only 2gb memory? Very little in todats standard. The TMobile galaxy S version has 16gb and its also much smaller than the Verizon Droid models. Its a waste.

The only problem is you cant download apps to SD card. So in theory its only 2gb. Keep in mind many devices have a min of 8gb and anothher 8-16 in sd memory. Why go backwards

Do you have any idea how many apps you can install with 2gb of internal memory? My Original Droid only has 512mb, I have a decent number of apps and no issue with space. Most apps only have 4mb of space stored on the actual phone. Android apps don't write like blackberry or iphone apps.

The only devices with a "minimum" of 8gigs on CDMA carriers are the D2 and Dx (the incredibles internal storage can't be used for apps)
