Yeah, I guess I made it all up. Company's which refused to advertise the EV complained that there was no demand for them. However the people who had actually leased these vehicles BEGGED them to let them keep the vehicles offering to release the automotive companies of any liability. They were rebuffed. Yeah...it's all in my mind. The fact is that an EV with this new battery technology would be much better than any hybrid and the Big 3 fought developing those until Toyota shamed them.

You (the guy that doesnt believe anything) need to realize that its all about money. Who stands to gain and who stands to lose is all that matters.
I dont think the auto companies would fight this half as much as one would think though. It could drive people back into the auto dealership. Carsalesmen can tell new and old buyers about the new battery feature and how economycl it is. Lastest and saves. Batteries arent generally that expensive so they might let it slide. Between high MPG and a new Battery the Car bussiness could pick up.
