go into TMO, Buy a phone, and unlock it, then go to ATT? Personally, I don't see the infatuation with buying a bottom line prepaid phone and going through the hassle anyway. It's not like they're state of the art devices. In fact, most prepaids are almost the same models on a different network. Just buy one from the company your with and activate it. I guess I am old school and don't understand it.

There is a huge difference between buying a prepaid cell phone and unlocking it for your personal use on another carrier versus buying hundreds at a time, unlocking all of them and then reselling them for a significantly higher rate.
In that situation it's T-Mobile that could have a negative image with the public if they don't do something about it. Make sense?

So what your saying, is the companies that have been banned from purchasing the phones, will make a shift now to only charging to unlock the phones, and telling their customers what and where to buy.
