Millions of other people, expecially those in sales, are lucky to have jobs right now, and these gangsters are refusing to work unless they get a RAISE.

Inflation and cost of living are going up. AT&T are doing very well even in this economy making excellent profits. This is the time for them to take care of their workers.

I dont know the details of the demands but I do know your post is rediculous. According to you att can basically say to their employees "hey we're doing good right now. but because everyone else is doing badly we can pee on your head and if you refuse to take it well... you'll jusst look bad refusing to work because people like globhead won't think it through."

You can do better.

at@t may be doing well but they have to spend Billions yearly on network upgrades and spent a small fortune in spectrum in 2008.

The unions breed laziness and that is a fact. The Unions lie about what they will do and take your money. Unions are a Business and they were hurting long before the recession because numerous flocks of sheep woke up and voted them out.

VZW and T-Mobile spank at@t in Customer Service and guess what, they are rewarding employees that are Non-Union by paying well and appreciating their employees. This show what happens when slackers get job security and advancement because they have a pulse and pay dues.

yeah yeah yeah... unions breed laziness, corporations breed corruption blah blah blah. the point is the logic is flawed. I dont know or care about the details of this strike. Hell I didnt even know att had union workers. but you cant say a union should never strike when people are out of work because then you're just writing a blank check to a corporation to be abusive in a poor economic climate irrespective of their individual outlook. Unless of couse you think a union should never strike... in which case you reveal both a profound misunderstanding of history and an unhinged view of capitalism.

It's not about greed or profits... it's about being a responsible business (referring to both the unions and the corporation) and keeping your people in the stores where they can jelp the people that really sign your paycheck, the customers.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Are you kidding me? T-mobile rewards their sales team for customer service??? They just made sure their sales team gets no yearly raise this year and an e-mail from robert dotson said nobody in the company would... but then the next month all managers still get a raise. PLUS they cut commission to only 125% max payout instead of 300% which is ued to be. The average sales rep who goes over his quota will lose 1-2k $$$

I'm wrong VZW isn't unionized. Sorry.

Although, I did read, AT&T will give any union employee a 10% discount, which isn't great, but I guess its better then nothing and does attract some business.

I guess those people should unionize, huh? It is funny to see someone complain about someone else having power to fight a multi-bilion giant like AT&T and win. Hater!
