I would except most of the people using mspot would be the people who dont have the time or know how to edit or cut songs and change file types. will probably be used mostly with phones that have mp3 support but use modified mp3 for ringtones. Atleast i would hope if they are trying to multi market that they would have file conversion available. And why nothave an upload option. If you own the cd or bought the itune or sprint music store or rhapsody or napster lisence you should be able to upload and edit and use that.

or...any song ripped from a CD or downloaded from limewire for free then use Wavepad (which you can also convert from an MP3 or WAV to any other format) or any other sound editing software to trim the song and then just upload it from Rumkin or any of the other upload sites out there. I hope you at least get the full version of the song along with the ring tone for $2.99.

🤣
you can just use a site called myxer.com and do the same thing for free

I've used myxer but the ringtones but i think they sound like crap. They are really distorted and not very loud. With wavepad you can lower the bass and a few other tweeks that make the ringtone sound just like you are playing through built in MP3 player. Only problem is the ones I make can be kinda big (500KB or bigger) so if you are low on internal memory than it may not be an option.
