After reading the memo sent to us about the specs on the Bill credit it says that existing customers that "PORT OVER" A number will receive a bill credit because they added a line.

The chances of someone having a line on another carrier after having T-Mobile for two years is very rare and to top it off after people that post over these threads stating that they didn't qualify for the promotion after being with T-Mobile for ever I am starting to feel like this is just marketing hype and not a true value to the customers that they have. As far as current customers are concerned making people wait for this $50 plan and then not offering it to them is going to create more churn then anything.

When I logged into my account this morning, it was available to me.

Someone stated "to top it off after people that post over these threads stating that they didn't qualify for the promotion after being with T-Mobile for ever I am starting to feel like this is just marketing hype and not a true value to the customers that they have."

Unless it is on another post, I have only read that from "1" poster. When I spoke to Tmobile, one qualification is timely payments. It goes beyond just not having your service disconnected. BTW, I'm not saying you did not make timely payments.

Same with me when I sighned in this morning, popped right up,got on-line with a t-mobile rep, was told that it was for San Fran only. And for Indiviual account only. I said I live in the Northeast and the ADD should have responded to the correct area and not to everyone that has an account on-line with T-Mobile. All the way to the West Coast gee what do they have that we dont?

its crap it is for everyone, one thing that people dont realize (If you dont work in the wirless industry) is really honestly is people give misinformation all day long. If you dont get a response that you like call back or log into my tmo, and change your plan there.

The rate plan was kinda rushed. So it's possible that some reps are still under the thought process it was still being added to only Sanfran. Call back. If you qualify in sanfran or not you'll get it.

Please give advice on how those of us who do not qualify for their 22 month requirement can get into this plan. I would save a good deal of money if I could change to an unlimited $50/month plan.

ok i agree with the fact that we may lose a few new customers, but i also disagreee 😕 . think of it this way, when your two years of contract are up chances are you're gonna look elsewhere for cheaper offers. Well, things dont get any better or cheaper than unlimited voice calls for $50 bucks. so it's kinda a smart way of keeping their old customers from leaving tmobile. 😉

Im in Chicago, and theres this new phone service to us called Criket. i was considering changing over to them in august when my contract was up because they offer unlimited calling for 50 bucks and no 2 commitment. Now that T-mobile brought this out, i'm definately sticking to my provider.

all in all to each their own. for sake of argument. 😎
