you can get 2 lines of unlimited talk in a family plan, and additional lines are only 39.99, up to 5 lines total. However, the @home is not available for people who swich to this plan. That would be just too good.

Why do you need hotspot @home if you have this plan? That seems like you are spending an extra $10/mth for nothing. All your calls are free because the plan is unlimited. The @home only gives you unlimited calls through wifi, not enables the use of UMA. You can still have calls routed through UMA if you do not have that plan (I can speak from personal experience on that as I do not have the plan).

SO BASICALLY THATS THE REASONING AND YOU CAN HAVE IT YOU WOULD JUST PAY THE UNLIMITED ADD A LINE PRICE

You sir are thinking of Hot Spot Unlimited Calling which is a different service than T-Mobile @Home. @Home is a landline replacement for $10.00 a month that gives you unlimited local and long distance calling, great for kids or grandparents without cell phones. Unfortunately @Home is not available for customer on the current FT Unlimited or the new Loyalty FT Unlimited.

Hot spot unlimited calling used to branded as Hotspot @Home, hence the confusion.
