The point you are all missing, and only a few of you have even touched on, is that this is a "bidding" process... The "winner" is the lowest bidder...

This "Project" has the same dilemma as the Space Shuttle. Your sending people into the most desolate place known to man strapped to a project built by the lowest quality materials for the lowest price.

The american people should ask for the best overall product, regardless of the price, when it comes to our safety. Why do you think the military has such a large budget? Sure, they have plenty of projects that are done on the same basis of lowest bid wins, but imagine how many deals are done under the table by congressman who need projects to be completed in their respective areas and ar...
